Monday 14 July in the Old School, Innerwick, 7 – 8:30pm
On 10 March this year the community council hosted a first community conversation about the use of community benefits we are likely to see from the electricity infrastructure that gets built in our patch. About twenty people joined in. That discussion helped us to create the proposal that the developers have now accepted for focussing financial benefits on four local priorities – from our Local Place Plan. These four priorities were confirmed by the community at the public Energy Developments meeting on 19 May.
Working with Foundation Scotland, we are holding a follow-up discussion on 14 July. It will talk about the current Government consultation on community benefits – and how that might affect us.
Please join us to further the discussions!
