East Lammermuir Energy Developments
East Lammermuir is at the rural edge of East Lothian and could see up to 14 new electricity infrastructure projects built in the area as part of the transition to net zero. The local community is determined to work with developers to make sure East Lammermuir is left better than it is now, once any new infrastructure is built and functioning.

How we decided on our approach to new community benefits
For several years now we have been aware that an exponential increase in community benefits might arise from the plethora of large electricity infrastructure projects now proposed or being built in East Lammermuir. We describe here how we have listened to a wide range of views to agree what we think is the right approach to the use of all of these funds for East Lammermuir. Click here to find out more.
