The A1 crossing feasibility study is now complete.

We’re working towards safer, better walking, wheeling and cycling links between our villages and the wider area.

The A1 crossing feasibility study is now complete. It explores options for improving connections near Torness, including a possible bridge and improvements through the existing Dry Burn culvert. No preferred option has been agreed.

Come along to Spott Village Hall on Wednesday 2 December, 7–9pm, to hear the findings, ask questions and share your views. We’ll also explore how this work could link with our Warm Homes and Biodiversity ambitions.

We’re looking for local people to help take this work forward through an Active Travel Steering Group. You don’t need technical knowledge—your experience of getting around locally matters. Contact: LPP@elcc.scot
