The previously announced late-September drop-in at Oldhamstocks Church was cancelled. The correction issued on 9 September 2026 did not confirm a replacement date.
Zenobē had recently acquired the consented Branxton Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project and was preparing a planning application for a proposed haul road and long-term access arrangements.
Correction to the community engagement announcement
There was an error in the earlier communication about community engagement events. Once project timelines are confirmed, details of consultation activities and community engagement events will be shared through local community channels.
The 9 September update said that further confirmed dates would follow, with an event in late October hoped for. This was not a confirmed replacement event.
