Tuesday 15th – Wednesday 16th September 2026
These works are part of the SP Energy Network EGL1 project.
Monday 14th Sept 2026 – Prysmian has issued the following update:
- The path will be closed for two days next week for haul road ducting works. The path will be closed early Tuesday morning 15 September and reopened late afternoon Wednesday 16 September.
- We are carrying out these essential ducting works at this location to align with other ongoing activity in the area. The construction programme is continuously reviewed and amended to ensure the wider project stays on schedule, and completing this ducting work next week is critical to allow subsequent phases to progress without delay.
- To keep the programme running smoothly, a section of the path will need to close at short notice for two days. We sincerely apologise for the sudden interruption to your usual route and appreciate your patience while we complete this vital phase.
- Signage: Signage notifying path users of the closure will be installed at the entrances of the path on Monday 14 September.
- Onsite safety: The safety of path users and site team is our priority. Due to the heavy machinery and activities involved in these works, it is not possible to maintain public access during these works. We remain committed to keeping this route accessible to the community whenever possible without compromising public safety.
