- Barns Ness Terrace will be closed from 2nd-13th July. This is to allow for surfacing works.
- The road must remain closed for the duration of the works to protect the public from a live construction site featuring heavy machinery and vehicle movements.
- The closure has been approved by East Lothian Council, and a map of the diversion is included in the link below
- Clear signage will be installed a week before the closure at prominent positions at each end of the length of the road closure notifying users of the closure. Signage will be inspected regularly throughout the closure period and replaced if necessary.
- The road will be closed off to the public using steel Heras fencing. The fencing will be inspected regularly to ensure it remains secure throughout the closure period.
